Aimee Wang is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising at the University of Southern California. She is working on a directed research project exploring the role of technology, particularly social media, in shaping young adults’ political views. Aimee graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2017 with a major in Sociology. She was an active member of student government, serving as a campaign manager for two years and as the Letters and Science Senator during her junior year.

Previously, Aimee interned at Oracle as an Industry Marketing assistant. In this role, she supported four industries and their respective public relations efforts, which required analysis of field research, effective copywriting, and a keen sense of newsworthiness. Aimee grew up in Shanghai, China and moved to the U.S. at the age of 14. She has lived in New York City, Seattle, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. During her free time, Aimee enjoys reading fiction, listening to podcasts, and visiting art museums. In 2023, she set the goal to run a half-marathon at the end of the year.
