Josephine Jarra is a junior at George Washington University studying International Affairs with a minor in Marketing. Having lived in England, Uzbekistan, Namibia, and Jamaica before the US, Josephine has developed a profound appreciation for different cultures and a strong passion for promoting diversity. Her prior experiences include programmatic marketing at Havas Media and an active involvement in the American Advertising Federation’s student competition where she first pitched a campaign for Meta and a year later returned to lead a team to create a campaign for Indeed. Josephine is excited to explore strategic communications as an intern by making meaningful contributions to shaping narratives around contemporary and pressing issues while further developing her own skills and interests in the field. Outside of work, she enjoys doing make-up and having karaoke nights with her friends.
