Bryson Gillette founder and president Bill Burton had a lively chat with political strategist Reed Galen about some of the most urgent issues in local and national politics, from homelessness in Los Angeles to the damaging algorithms of social media companies to our post-Trump struggle to recover a shared reality in American life. He also shared some personal thoughts on President Biden, with whom Bill worked during his time in the Obama administration:

“When you are in his gaze and he is really digging in on what’s going on with your family or something that happened to you, you feel it,” Bill said, of the president. “He has a way of giving attention that is different than anyone I’ve ever met.”
