Shruti Vadada (she/her) recently graduated from George Washington University with a BA in Public Affairs, Philosophy and Business. At GW, Shruti explored the intersections of media, law, and social impact. Her work outside the classroom included serving as managing director of the GW Undergraduate Law Review, researching justice policy at her local district attorney’s office, and authoring an article on intellectual property rights for the Center for Art Law. She has worked with several arts and justice nonprofits on strategic communications to advance cultural and legal equity. Shruti is passionate about using storytelling and advocacy to uplift marginalized voices, support creative rights, and influence meaningful policy change.

Born and raised in New York, Shruti has loved making Washington, D.C. her second home and is always exploring new neighborhoods, bookstores, and bakeries. She also enjoys traveling, playing tennis, reading novels, and watching movies in her free time.
