Dannela Lagrimas previously served as an intern at Bryson Gillette, supporting clients on strategic communications and research initiatives. Prior to joining Bryson, as an intern at Edelman, she developed her public relations skills working on global lifestyle and wellness brand accounts. Dannela recently graduated from UCLA with a degree in Political Science and Communication. She served as the lifestyle editor of the Daily Bruin and was a coordinator for a Filipino student-initiated project that expanded college access for underserved students across Los Angeles. For that project she led political and cultural education programming, developed resources that boosted student engagement and participation across partner schools, and built staff systems rooted in community care.
Dannela is particularly interested in how storytelling can mobilize communities and drive change, especially in education, tech reform, and grassroots politics. Outside of work, she enjoys dominating at trivia nights, adding to her expansive set of pop culture knowledge, and hunting for the best (and greenest!) matcha lattes around LA.
